Sarah Gillespie's Glory Days - Launch at the Pizza Express

    Hi Everybody,

Sarah will launch Glory Days at the Pizza Express Jazz Club next month. This album is very different, very personal on the verge of intimate. Great reviews so far, I love it and very proud of it. Hope to see you @ the Pizza

‘Flamenco-dancing pigeons, pumpkin pie, Charlie Sheen and Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn all crop up on this British singer-songwriter's Gilad Atzmon-produced third album. Her humorous impressionistic lyrics oscillate between the intimate and the infinite against a backdrop of bluesy acoustic guitar, accordion and double bass.’
    The Independent ★★★★
    Rock n' Real Magazine ★★★★★
‘Glory Days.. her best mix yet of hooky tunes and smart lyrics'. Mojo ★★★★
Glory Days reveals Gillespie’s song writing to be as sharp and astute as ever and her poetic muse undimmed. It also charts her rise to prominence as an instrumentalist'.
    The Jazz Mann ★★★★
Atzmon called her a 'jazz wordsmith, a poetic rebel'. She's also a fine guitarist and ardent performer. London Jazz News
