Gilad Atzmon
Atzmon writes on political matters, social issues, Jewish identity and culture. His papers are published on very many press outlets around the world. Here is just a short list of his recent publications: World News, Press Tv, Rebelion, The Daily Telegraph, Uprooted Palestinians, Veterans Today, Palestine Telegraph, Counterpunch, Dissident Voice, Aljazeera Magazine, Information Clearing House, Middle-East-Online, Palestine Chronicle, The People Voice, Redress, Shoa (The Palestinian Holocaust) , The Guardian, transcend and many more.
Wandering Who? A Study Of Jewish Identity PoliticsJewish identity is tied up with some of the most difficult and contentious issues of today. The purpose in this book is to open many of these issues up for discussion. Since Israel defines itself openly as the ‘Jewish State’, we should ask what the notions of ’Judaism’, ‘Jewishness’, ‘Jewish culture’ and ‘Jewish ideology’ stand for. Gilad examines the tribal aspects embedded in Jewish secular discourse, both Zionist and anti Zionist; the ‘holocaust religion’; the meaning of ‘history’ and ‘time’ within the Jewish political discourse; the anti-Gentile ideologies entangled within different forms of secular Jewish political discourse and even within the Jewish left. He questions what it is that leads Diaspora Jews to identify themselves with Israel and affiliate with its politics. The devastating state of our world affairs raises an immediate demand for a conceptual shift in our intellectual and philosophical attitude towards politics, identity politics and history.

Ynet reviewed today the work of Dr. Adam Ferziger, an expert in the study of modern Jewish denominations. The Israeli academic contends that due to assimilation “the absolute majority of American Jewry won't be Jews anymore”.
According to Dr. Ferziger, Americans are just not anti-Semitic enough to maintain traditional Jewish identity. Jews have integrated so well “that most Americans don’t see being a Jew as a negative thing, but actually consider it an advantage”.
Seemingly, without being hated Jews are “getting lost”.
Ferziger continues, “Anti-Semitic phenomena are rare, especially in the upper class of the American population, and at the end of the day its open arms were what determined the assimilation trend and helped speed it up”. The take-home message is pretty clear. Jews cannot sustain their identity unless confronted by indignation in their surrounding environment. In short, it is anti-Semitism that sustains Jewish existence.

Israeli exile Gilad Atzmon is a staunch defender of Palestinian rights and opposes the existence of a Jewish state. He is also a philosopher and iconoclast who examines the origins of Zionism and other types of exclusivist philosophy. For this, many call him racist and anti-Semitic. However, he claims that his search has brought him to a deeper anti-racism and shown him racist elements that extend beyond Zionism. He offends many, but for those with an open mind, he also makes them think, and he welcomes all questions and criticism.
Investigative journalist and writer Jeffrey Blankfort is a Bay Area treasure with a wealth of knowledge and experience on the Israel Lobby and the formation of US government policy toward Israel. He won a legal judgement against the ADL for spying and produces a weekly program on KZYX in Mendocino.

Ethnic cleansing enthusiast Alan Dershowitz is unhappy with the current BDS efforts (boycott, divestment and sanctions against Israel). Earlier today Haaretz published Dershowitz’ diatribe on the BDS. For the first time, I have to admit, I agree with the elder Zionist mouthpiece.
Let’s review Dershowitz’ ten arguments against the BDS
1. “The BDS movement immorally imposes the entire blame for the continuing Israeli occupation and settlement policy on the Israelis.”
Dershowitz is obviously correct. It is indeed immoral to blindly blame to oppressor. The victims should also be held accountable. Israel’s open air prisons’ inmates (the Palestinians) should take responsibility once and for all. Similarly, instead of blaming the Nazis, we should follow Dershowitz’ new moral guidelines and insist that concentration camp inmates should have questioned their unwillingness to strike a peace deal with the Nazis.

Gilad Atzmon Ynet reports today that members of Bayit Yehudi party walk out of European Parliament President's speech over his 'lies'; Bennett says he won't accept untrue moral sermon, 'definitely not German'.
European Parliament President Martin Schulz told the Knesset on Wednesday that the European Union would always stand by Israel's side, in a speech that touched on the importance of remembering the Holocaust, and his own personal perspective of the crimes of his homeland Germany crimes during World War II.
But his comments on living conditions for the Palestinians prompted a mass walk-out by members of the Bayit Yehudi party.
Party leader Naftali Bennett later took to Facebook to explain that most of his faction had left due to Schulz' "lies" about Palestinian water allocations, and his use of the word "siege" in relation to Gaza.
