Gilad Atzmon's New Book: The Wandering Who? A Study Of Jewish Identity Politics
Jewish identity is tied up with some of the most difficult and contentious issues of today. The purpose in this book is to open many of these issues up for discussion. Since Israel defines itself openly as the ‘Jewish State’, we should ask what the notions of ’Judaism’, ‘Jewishness’, ‘Jewish culture’ and ‘Jewish ideology’ stand for. Gilad examines the tribal aspects embedded in Jewish secular discourse, both Zionist and anti Zionist; the ‘holocaust religion’; the meaning of ‘history’ and ‘time’ within the Jewish political discourse; the anti-Gentile ideologies entangled within different forms of secular Jewish political discourse and even within the Jewish left. He questions what it is that leads Diaspora Jews to identify themselves with Israel and affiliate with its politics. The devastating state of our world affairs raises an immediate demand for a conceptual shift in our intellectual and philosophical attitude towards politics, identity politics and history.

Gilad and Amina were invited for a special concert at the Jazzclub L'Inoui, and they had an amazing experience playig together. Recently they decided to do a duo project, with upcoming concerts in the UK and the USA. Jazz duets are tough and demanding, they require maximum soloing and support skills without any safety net. _________________________________ Composer and pianist Amina Figarova's released 12 album, and her latest titled Twelve - her debut release on the renowned independent German label In + Out - celebrates jazz is an international music and New York City as a locale where jazz gypsies may feel most at home. Twelve is suffused with the heightened expectations, sense of adventure and fresh perceptions, as well as the confidence, creative energies and nuanced fulfillment that artists gain from being in the right place at the right time. She has toured extensively, developing a tight-knit ensemble that, despite inevitable personnel changes, has attained a distinctive and inimitable voice by concentrating on all-original repertoire for almost 18 years. During that period, having collaborated with musicians residing in both the U.S. and Europe and having built up a circuit of welcoming venues, the Amina Figarova Sextet has triumphed at the main stage of the Newport Jazz Festival, been invited repeatedly to New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, won critical and audience acclaim in Chicago, Detroit, Paris, Amsterdam — and of course New York. Amina's pieces strike a perfect tone, employing genuinely beautiful harmonizations, to capture fleeting thoughts that accompany those precious moments when the puzzling jostle of daily existence comes into unexpected but deeply satisfying sync. Amina’s video channel is: http://www.youtube.com/aminafigarova Playing over 250 dates a year in Britain and around the world, Atzmon has been called "the hardest-gigging man in British jazz." His albums, of which he has recorded thirteen to date, often explore the music of the Middle East and social themes. Atzmon is also a best selling author. His books have been translated into 26 languages. A Glimpse Into Jewish Self-Love
Introduction by GA: ‘This is why I love being a Jew’ was written by Dan Sporn from Israel probably in 2009. It is continuously disseminated via Jewish mail groups and social network. This sickening Judeo-centric text reveals a weird combination of arrogance, hubris and empowerment fuelled by endless sense of victimhood. It explains pretty well the tragic manner in which Jews bring disasters on themselves
WHY I LOVE BEING A JEW
Our condition has never been better than it is now! Only the television and the media make people think that the end of the world is near. Only 65 years ago, Jews were brought to death like sheep to slaughter. NO country, NO army. Only 60 years ago, seven Arab countries declared war on little Israel, the Jewish state, just a few hours after it was established.
We were 650,000 Jews against the rest of the Arab world. No I.D.F. (Israeli Defense Forces) or Air Force. We were only a small group of stubborn people with nowhere to go.
Remember : Lebanon , Syria , Iraq , Jordan , Egypt , Libya , and Saudi Arabia, they all attacked at once. The state that the United Nations "gave" us was 65% desert. We started it from zero.
Only 41 years ago, we fought three of the strongest countries in the Middle East , and we crushed them in the Six Day War.
Over the years we fought different coalitions of Arab countries with modern armies and huge amounts of Russian-Soviet ammunition, and we still won.
Gilad Atzmon's Homage to Klezmer Nick Cooper (funny)
Ahead of my performance in Houston two days ago, I found that a Klezmer named Nick Cooper went out of his way to jeopardize the event. He harassed the venue, pestered my followers and put into play every ADL trick in the book.
I used the occasion to hit hard on Jewish 'Left' and its corrosive impact.
The gathering in Layal (Palestinian) restaurant was a great success. The place was full to capacity,
This is my tribute to Klezmer Cooper for the free promotion

Hot Off The Press: Were The Revisionists Correct All Along?
By Gilad Atzmon
Israeli archaeologist Yoram Haimi reported today on Ynet (Hebrew) that his international team has now identified the location of a real Gas Chambers in Sobibor concentration camp.
Haimi admitted that “Sobibor is the only place where you can witness an original Gas Chamber, the way it operated in reality.”
Mazal Tov - a real gas chamber at last.
If this is the case - if Sobibor is indeed the only place where an “original gas chamber” can be witnessed, then the Holocaust Revisionists who were subject to State terror and persecution, let alone endless harassment by the hands of Zionist and anti alike, were telling the truth all along. The Gas Chambers that have been exhibited to tourists were built after the war. This revelation is both embarrassing yet reassuring. Truth liberates us after all.
The only question that is left open is whether Israeli archaeologist Haimi may get arrested once landing in Germany.
ISIS, Scotland and The Politics of Mimicry
By Gilad Atzmon
Is the fact that half of the Scots want to split from Britain and the news that hundreds of young Muslim Brits are fighting with Jihadi militant groups in Syria connected?
Of course they are. These two social phenomena are intrinsically linked, yet in the intellectual desert in which we live, no one dares to address the subject. The boundaries of our curiosity are limited by our deference to political correctness and Zionist sensitivities.
From a political perspective, Jihadi enthusiasm amongst young Western Muslims is an outcome of the emergence of tribalism in the West; but isn’t the call for Scottish independence driven by a similar tribal urge? From both a philosophical and dialectic perspective, Jihadi identification and the Scottish call for independence are the antithesis of the New Left and its corrosive Identity (ID) politics that have been spread in our midst for too long.
Gazans fleeing to Europe via tunnels, traffickers and boats
'It’s better to die at sea than to die of despair and frustration in Gaza,’ says resident of Strip.
Haaretz reports this morning that “Thousands of Palestinians have left the Gaza Strip for Europe using tunnels, traffickers and boats.” The following is a devastating glimpse into the continuous ethnic cleansing of Palestine. Europe is silent about it, the Western media is also silent about it. I guess that discussing this unfolding tragedy in the open would lead to a diplomatic clash with Israel and an open conflict with its Jewish lobby.
“The Palestinian Embassy in Greece reported yesterday that the ship that sank off the coast of Malta was carrying more than 450 passengers, most of them Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, and that it was rammed intentionally by another ship run by rival smugglers. “
“The Gaza-based human rights group Adamir has collected the names of more than 400 missing people. “No one knows where they are; the whole Gaza Strip is talking about it. It’s such a painful story, as if it’s not enough what happened in the last war and now another blow comes,” said Adamir director Halil Abu Shamala, noting that most of the passengers were young people but that there were also whole families aboard. “
AZZ in our midst..
Introduction by GA: As it seems Klezmer Nick Cooper didn't give up on his attempts to jeopardise my performance/talk in Houston tomorrow night. Being a spectacular multi-talentless, he obviously failed. But he managed to do one thing; he provided all the necessary evidence to prove my argument re the corrosive nature of Anti Zionist Zionists correct. I will use this opportunity to thank Cooper.
Following is a message from event organiser Bob Carter of Justice for Palestinians:
Greetings all,
To discourage attendance, opponents of the Gilad Atzmon performance requested permission of the (Huston Texas) Unitarian Fellowship to leaflet arrivals before the show. You can imagine what what the contents would have been on the leaflets, but it certainly would not have been complimentary of Mr. Atzmon. I never thought they would go to this extreme. In response, the church cancelled the event altogether. Maybe it is all for the best.
Fortunately we have a new and perhaps a better venue and we hope to see you there.
WHERE: Café Layal-6328 Richmond Ave. HOUSTON, 77057
(Between Hillcroft and Fountainview)
WHEN: Wed. Sept. 17, 7:30 PM

More about Gilad Atzmon
As a young man, Atzmon served in the Israeli Army but has become a fierce opponent of Israel's 66 years of repressive policies toward Palestine and is an advocate of the right of return for all Palestinians. His wildest dream is that Palestinians and Jews could live together side by side in harmony.
In my opinion Gilad Atzmon plumbs deep in truth with compassion to the root causes of Israel's brutality. Being an international figure with considerable influence who challenges our political correctness is unduly chastised and targeted. There are those who would try to silence him, but in a free society I think his voice needs to be heard. He needs our moral and financial support. His book The Wandering Who? and his CDs will be on sale.
As a musician, Atzmon's mentor is the Great Jazz saxophonist Charlie Parker. John Coltrane has also influenced his playing.

Hope to see you at the performance to hear this marvelous musician who courageously speaks truth to power. Come and judge for yourself.

Cognitive Partitioning of America, Israel & Palestine
September 23 Tuesday Berkeley, CA
http://www.gilad.co.uk/writings/gilads-usa-september-tour.html
Gilad Atzmon rarely thinks inside the box. Many consider his ideas offensive, but Gilad would ask, "Are they wrong?" This is, of course, the right question.
Gilad thinks he has achieved some breakthroughs that he has not yet published and that he would like to share with you. According to him, they help to answer questions like why the Palestinian liberation movement and the Palestine solidarity movements have been held back and thus far unable to achieve their goals, but the implications are much wider.
Gilad's talk and discussion will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 7:00-9:00 p.m. in a private residence in Berkeley. If you wish to attend, please respond to larudee@pacbell.net or 510-236-5338. We ask you not post to lists, but if you wish to share with interested individuals, please do so.
